KEENER, Patrick A. – of Flint, age 56, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at his home in Prescott, MI. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 PM Friday, September 27, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Rd., Flint; Rev. Fr. George Puthenpeedika and Rev. Fr. Philip Schmitter concelebrating. Cremation will follow the mass. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday and 12-3 and 5-8 PM Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Friday, visitation will be at the church from 12 Noon until the time of service. A Rosary will be prayed 5:30 PM Thursday.

Pat was born in Flint, MI on April 12, 1957 son of the late Robert Sherman and Margaret Joan (O’Brien) Keener. He married Nancy M. Terebinski on March 29, 1995 in Lapeer, MI. Pat worked at GM for 30 years as a Pipefitter. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #599 and Knights of Columbus Council # 4090. Pat loved being at his home up north. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed fishing. Pat loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Pat is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Lindsay (Steven) Flannery, Nicole Keener, Heidi Smith, Ryan Keener, Jacob Doucette and Isaac Keener; grandchildren, Caleb, Parker, William, Mayson and Brooklyn; father-in-law, Leonard J. Terebinski; 11 brothers and sisters and their spouses; many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Patricia Terebinski; two nieces; two nephews.
