ALDERMAN, Daniel S. – of Saginaw, formerly of Davison, age 77, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Pines of Burton. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Fr. Denis Spitzley officiating. Interment will take place following the service in Davison Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Support Michigan 4-H.
Daniel was born in Davison on March 4, 1947, son of Woodrow and Lucille Alderman. He worked as a millwright for GM, retiring after many years of service. Dan was also a full-time farmer. He was an avid John-Deere enthusiast, often going to auctions and various sales to expand his collection. Dan enjoyed his time with family and friends.
Dan is survived by his three sons, Steve (Diana) Alderman, Roger Alderman, Richard Alderman; grandchildren, Alex (Erica), Grant (Taylor), Lea (Mitchell), Devon, Kailyn (Carmen); great-grandchildren, Kenny, Veronica and Max; sister, Rose “Rity” Dosh; He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Mike Alderman, Dave Alderman and Dawn Davis; and former spouses, Linda Alderman and Gena Alderman.
