WELCH, Leland – of Burton, age 83, passed away at Genesys Health Park, September 10, 2018. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, September 14, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Tom Mattiuzzo officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Thursday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday.
Leland was born in Ashland, Mississippi on October 15, 1934; son of the late Fred and Gladys Welch. He retired from Buick Motor Division after 31 years of service.
Leland is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marilyn; children, Leland (Melody) Welch, Brenda Holweg, William Welch and Rhonda Clark; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Vildean of Arkansas, Hazel of Arkansas and Junita (Byron) of Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Clark and Junior Welch.
