LITTLE, William H. “Bill” - Of Grand Blanc, age 77, died Friday, May 31, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation 4-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
William was born in Salamanca, New York on March 11, 1942, the son of William and Ruth (Jennings) Little. On January 11, 1964, he married Barbara Slosar. Bill retired from Chevrolet Metal Fab after 42.5 years of service. Bill was a diehard Detroit Tigers fan, and enjoyed fishing and camping in East Tawas. He loved spending time with his family and attending all of his grandchildren’s events.
Surviving are wife, Barbara;
children, Mary M. Teffner, David W. (Ruth Ann) Little and Julie A. (Reed) Little;
grandchildren, Megan, Josh, Tyler, Sarah, Maggie, Sophie, Cameron, and Max;
great-grandchildren, Madison, Kayli, Hunter, Madx, Kohen and Hudsyn;
sister, Laurie (Swede) Jorgenson;
sister-in-law, Cindy Slosar;
and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by sister, Kathy Russ and brother-in-law, Bill Slosar.
Special thanks to the outstanding care and support by Dr. Swamy. Words cannot express the thanks to Genesys SICU nurses and all the physicians who helped with Bill’s care.
