House, Virginia Louise Rev. – of Birch Run, age 90, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Carl Halquist officiating. Burial in Birch Run Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 10 AM-1 PM and 4 PM-9 PM and on Saturday from 11 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM.
Louise was born August 17, 1926, in Seneca, Missouri to the late John and Cora (Mitchell) McGuirk. She married George House on May 3, 1942. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1984. Louise pastored several churches throughout her years in ministry – most notably Victory Tabernacle and Community Lighthouse Tabernacle in Clio.
Surviving are: Daughter, Thelma Congdon of Birch Run; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren; Louise was also preceded in death by 2 daughters: Patricia Borntrager and Christina Worden and granddaughter, Darla White.
