YENCSO, Helen – Of Grand Blanc, age 91, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at American House Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dennis Himm officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery at 10 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013.
Those desiring may make contributions to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5005 McCandlish Road, Grand Blanc.
Visitation 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Helen was born in Coy, Pennsylvania on April 25, 1921, the daughter of Demetrius and Anna (Litvin) Varholik and was a resident of American House in Grand Blanc.
On June 12, 1948 she married William Yencso in Elkhart, Indiana.
Helen loved to collect antiques and was a vendor at various Antique Malls.
She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
Surviving are husband, William, Sr.;
children, Thomas, Cynthia (Thomas) Pustelnik, Paul and David (Norika);
grandchildren, Robert, Brian, Courtney, Heather (Scott) Allen, Ryan and Peter;
great-grandchildren, Tanner, Kenadee, Jade, Riley, Jacob and Emily.
She was preceded in death by son, William, Jr; five brothers and four sisters.
