McKenna, Michael Keith - Age 57, of Carlsbad, CA, formerly of Fenton, passed away July 1, 2018. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 3-6 PM Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Fenton Township Hall, 12060 Mantawauka Drive, Fenton.
Michael was born October 29, 1960 in Flint, the son of Keith and Beverly (Monk) McKenna. He was a 1978 graduate of Fenton High School. Michael married Yolanda L. Mont on March 30, 2007, but they have happily been together for 21 years. He was a business consultant for the corporate side of Century 21. Michael was smart and so easily connected with everyone he met. He was serious but knew how to have fun. He and his wife Yolanda lived an adventurous life together and traveled the world. Michael loved the outdoors, especially the ocean. He enjoyed surfing and sailing.
Surviving are: his beloved wife, Yolanda; 2 children, Victoria (Scott) Peltier and Ashton Robertson; 3 month old granddaughter, Nora Peltier, who he absolutely adored; his mother, Beverly McKenna; siblings, Sandy (Jim) Butler, Rick (Germaine) McKenna, Karen (Scott) Everingham; nephews, Chris Butler, Cole McKenna; nieces, Lynn Dowden, Hailey McKenna, and Christine Everingham.
