CARLSON, David Hyatt – Of Flint, age 66, died Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Per David’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A private Memorial Service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home.
Pastor Brian West officiating.
Inurnment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery with Honors.
Contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society or a charity of one’s choice.
David was born in Lansing, Michigan on July 21, 1953, the son of the late Marvin and Maxine (Hyatt) Carlson. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1974-76 and was honorably discharged. David was employed with General Motors Truck and Bus and retired after 30 years of service. David enjoyed going to sporting events and car racing.
Surviving are wife, Peggy Carlson;
sons, Zachary and David;
stepsons, Larry, Paul and Matthew;
many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
sisters, Diane and Joe Everett, Ellen and Mike Van Slyke;
brother, Bruce Carlson;
special friends at Caboose Lounge, Betty and Dana.
