Glen Eugene Tuck – Of Swartz Creek, age 89, passed away peacefully Monday, May 13, 2019 at Springvale Assisted Living.
Honoring Glen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Funeral Service celebrating his life will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 1:30 pm.
Donations in his honor may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Alzheimer’s Association, Hospice of Michigan or Springvale Assisted Living and Memory Care of Swartz Creek, MI.
Glen was born in Flint on February 1, 1930, the son of William Jesse (Glen) and Dorothy Belle (McLeod) Tuck. He graduated in 1948 from Flint Central High School. Glen married his high school sweetheart Roberta Claire Tinder in 1950.
He subsequently served in the Army stationed in Korea.
In 1987 he retired from General Motors after more than 38 years. He and Roberta belonged to Davison Country Club.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years Roberta Claire Tuck; his three children, daughter Laura (Tuck) and her husband Terry VanAntwerp of Attica, daughter Jan (Tuck) and her husband Ron Brown of Swartz Creek, and son Rich and Julie (Lewis) Tuck of Grand Blanc; Grandchildren, Aimee (Brown) Trace, Darby (VanAntwerp) Litz, Brianna (Brown) Salling, Adam VanAntwerp, Jordan Tuck and Aaron Tuck; Great-grandchildren, Jaqueline, Everett, and Isaac Salling, and Wyatt and Brody Litz.
He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy May (Tuck) Gohl.
