SAMUELSON, Melbourne B “Mel” – Age 80, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Mr. Samuelson was born February 15, 1932 in Flint the son of Arthur and Garldine (Snyder) Samuelson. Mel served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at Buick Motor Co. for 35 years retiring in 1986. Mel enjoyed listening to and singing Gospel and Country Music. Surviving are sisters, Virginia Haynes of Davison, Ann (Alex) Lopez of Flint, brothers, Clinton (Pat) of Swartz Creek, Gary of Mt. Pleasant, David (Sherry) of Sebastian, FL. Mr. Samuelson was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Garldine Samuelson, brothers, Arthur Jr., Blair and Robert Samuelson. Friends may visit the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. The Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the funeral home. Pastor Glenn Tatterson will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. |
