CARLSON, ROBERT “BOB” GUSTAF age 92, died Thursday, March 9, 2017 at home with his family. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 East Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Gary Beck officiating. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Bob was born March 15, 1924 in Flint, MI to parents Oscar and Laura (Lewis) Carlson. He retired in 1985 from Buick Plant 78 and a member of the UAW Local 599. Surviving are wife Jackie Carlson; children Bob (Shelley) Carlson, Barbara J. (Jim Puro) Kesten; brother Kenneth (Beth) Carlson; sister Shirley (Ken) Swidorski; son-in-law Tom Trigger; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by daughter Deborah Lynn Trigger December 26, 2016. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Reverence Hospice and Dr. Dale Hanson for all their loving care. Contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.
