YENCER, Phyllis M. – Of Burton, age 74, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Visitation 2- 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gift of Life.
Phyllis was born in Flint, MI on September 25, 1944, the daughter of the late Maurice and Laurene Jones.
On August 8, 1964 she married Timothy Yencer and he preceded her in death in September 2006.
Mrs. Yencer retired in 2007, from JoAnn's Fabric after 15 years of service.
Surviving are 2 children, Lynnette and husband Charles Allen, Scott and wife Vicki;
5 grandchildren, Clifford, Bradley, Timothy, David and Tiffany;
3 great-grandchildren, Sylvia, Payton and Aiden;
1 brother, Ronald (Sue) Jones;
nephews and nieces.
