MILLER, ANNA (Bush) of Burton, age 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, May 24th, 2024, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Road, Flint, MI, Pastor Jon Gildner officiating. Visitation will be from 11 am-3 pm and 4 pm-8 pm on Thursday, May 23, and from 11 am–1 pm on Friday prior to the service. Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park. Anna was born in New Lothrop, on October 16, 1934, the daughter of the late George and Katherine (Schneider) Bush. Anna married her love, Ruben Miller, on January 31, 1959. She resided in the Flint & Burton area all of her married life. Anna graduated from Davison High School in 1952. She was employed at AC Spark Plug from 1952-1963 and later at Skaff Furniture from 1977-1996. She was a member of South Flint Church of the Nazarene for 52 years. She had previously attended Cross Congregational Church and was a member of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her yard. She was a beautiful Christian who loved Jesus and lived a life of humility and unconditional love. She has left behind her family to forever cherish her memories: husband, Ruben; two daughters, Ann Marie (Carlos) Assam and Maureen (John) Blewett; four grandchildren, Charlie (Valerie) Assam, Tommy (Vanessa) Assam, Lucy (Alejandro) Gonzalez, and Susy Assam; two great-grandchildren, Santiago and Ivana Assam; brother, Donald (Jalonne) Bush, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Katherine Bush; brothers, George, Dave, and Reuben Bush; sisters, Katherine Adams, Mary Myers, Molly Limbaugh, Rachel Debus, and Arlene Voelker.
