RABINETTE, Howard - Of Burton, age 85, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 1-4pm and 6-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
Howard was born in Flint on January 25, 1934, the son of the late Albert and Florence (Rouleau) Rabinette. On April 16, 1955, Howard married Betty Jane Lewis. He retired from General Motors V8 Engine Plant in 1986 after 40 years of service. Howard enjoyed hunting, fishing, casino, golfing, and snowmobiling. They moved up North to Leroy, Michigan and family was VERY important to him. He loved his grandkids and great-grandkids. Above all, Howard loved to help others.
Surviving are children, Steven (Shelly) Rabinette of Lapeer, Katherine (Gregory) Streeter of Davison, and David (Amber) Rabinette of Millington;
Grandchildren, Joseph Streeter, Casey Streeter, Katie Ackert, Katelynn Rabinette, Allan Rabinette and Logan Rabinette;
Great-grandchildren, Kai Streeter, Joseph Streeter, Brantlee Ackert, Jaxson Streeter, Sailor Streeter, and Dallas Rabinette;
Siblings, Rena Ward of Flint, Norma Reimel of Durand, and Albert Rabinette of Douglas, GA;
And many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Lewis, grandson, Steven Logan Rabinette and brother, Don Rabinette.
