ROSS, Timothy David of Burton, Michigan, age 68, died Monday, April 13, 2020 at McLaren Medical Center. Cremation has taken place.
A memorial will be held at a later date to allow family and friends to come together and properly celebrate Tim’s life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hurley Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Tim was born in Flint, Michigan on December 10, 1951. A 1970 graduate of Flint Southwestern High School, Tim retired from General Motors after 30 years. Tim married the love of his life, Carol (Janie) Gregory, on July 15, 1978. Tim was the proud father of Connie and Brian. Tim enjoyed watching his children during sporting events and coached powerlifting at Atherton High School. Tim enjoyed spending time with family whether it was on a vacation or a day trip on his boat. He loved nothing more than to spend time with his grandkids while wearing his #1 Grandpa hat. His love will last forever in the hearts of his family.
Surviving are, wife Carol Jane Ross; children Connie Legue (Rick Orlowski), Brian (Kelli) Ross; grandchildren Jordan and Morgan Legue, Reed and Ian Ross; sisters Darlene Townzen, Carolyn (Dan) Meredith; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arvel and Edna Ross, sisters Betty Jean Irvine and Shirley Ann Barnard.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at McLaren Medical Center Flint for their dedicated efforts and care.
