GRANTNER, Agnes – of Burton, age 92, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at her residence. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 12 Noon Friday, January 31, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating. Private burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-8 PM and 11 AM until time of service on Friday. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 PM on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Agnes was born in Flint, MI on March 19, 1921, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Turkal. She married Ernest Edward Grantner on December 9, 1944 and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2009. Agnes was a retiree from Fisher Body. She was also a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union #561.
Agnes is survived by daughter, Roxann (Robert) Guzak; grandsons, David (Jodi) Guzak, Dr. Edward Guzak; great-grandsons, Andrew David Guzak, Matthew Brian Guzak.
