LECHOTA, Betty - Of Burton, age 87, died Friday, November 4, 2016 at her residence.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11am Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Road, Flint,
Reverend Father Roy Horning officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.
Visitation 10am Saturday at church until the time of the Memorial Mass.
Betty was born in Flint on August 20, 1929, the daughter of the late Albert and Beatrice (Grobe) Prentice. On June 17, 1950, she married Anthony Lechota in Flint and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2000. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Surviving are 10 children, Tom (Nancy), Dan(Sue), Jean (Jack) Minca, Mary Ellen (Bob) Britt, Nancy (Tom) Gekeler, Margaret (Eldon) Brown, Barbara Schopieray, Katie Andersen, Anne (Don) Walters, and Andrew;
daughter-in-law, Erin Lechota;
and 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Jim, sister, Jane Kruszewski and 3 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah and Jacob Goodwill.
