CLARK, Theresa E.- Age 84, of Gaines, died Thursday February 20, 2020. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, February 25 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 9450 Duffield Rd., Gaines. Father Bill Wegher Celebrant. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Gaines. Visitation will be held 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM Monday with a 7PM Rosary being prayed at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be 10AM until time of Mass at the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Theresa was born March 13, 1935 in Belcourt, North Dakota, the daughter of Leonell Eugene and Myrtle K. (Reed) Duchesneau. She married Wilson E. "Bill" Clark in Northville on September 14, 1957. Theresa graduated from Northville High School and attended U of M and Eastern, graduating from Eastern with a Bachelor of Science, and two Master Degrees from U of M. Theresa retired from the Flint School District as a special education teacher with 30 years of service. She enjoyed gardening,crocheting,baking and making crafts. Theresa was a volunteer and member of the Gaines Lions Club and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 40 plus years. Surviving are: husband of 62 years, Bill Clark of Gaines; daughter, Katherine (Douglas) Perry of Gaines; son, Michael (Julie) Clark of Burton; grandchildren, Jennifer (Charlie), Jacquelyn, Julie (Jack), Jill (Chris), Austin (Barbie), Emily (Austin); great- grandson, Sawyer Wilson; brother, Donald and niece, Andrea; great niece, Avery.
