Betty Jean Bailey, age 78 of Owosso, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 at Pleasant View. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 11, 2019 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel in Owosso. Pastor John Walworth will officiate with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Owosso. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5-8 pm.
Betty Jean was born August 28, 1940 in Owosso to the late Frank and Agnes (Hromek) Klabak. She attended Owosso High School, graduating in 1958. Betty Jean was a lover of all animals, especially all of the family pets. She enjoyed her time with family, playing bingo and putting together puzzles.
Betty Jean is survived by her 2 daughters: Lisa (Frank) Tew of Owosso, Leslee (Steven) Klem of Owosso; 4 grandchildren: Kylie Tew, Taylor Engel, Brendan Tew, Cassidy Engel; great granddaughter, Payton McComb; 2 brothers: Frank (Jean) Klabak, Jr. of Chesaning, Gene Klabak of Owosso as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and his sister, Helen Luft.
