DOMERESE, Robbie Marie – of Flint, age 91, went home to heaven Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Medilodge of Montrose. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 4-8 PM and from 10AM until time of service at 11AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Central Baptist Church 2211 N. Center Road, Flint, Michigan 48506.
Robbie was born May 13, 1926 in Clarksville, Arkansas to the late Robert and Marie (Bean) Selby. She married Alvis Treiber Domerese on July 8, 1944 in Clarksville and he preceded her in death on March 15, 1974. Robbie was a charter member of Central Baptist Church and attended until her death. She enjoyed spending time with her church friends and serving her Lord and Savior. She loved working in the yard and tending to her flowers. She resided in Flint, Michigan most of her life and enjoyed spending winters at her daughter Freda’s home for the past few years. Robbie worked at St. Joseph Hospital as a Dietary Aide for 15 years.
Surviving are; Children, Louie (Sandi) Domerese, Gary (Kathy) Domerese, Freda Gregory-Domerese; Grandchildren, Louie Jr., Todd, Robert, Carriekay, Jamie, Michael, Tami, LaDonna, Rusty, Kelly; and 21 Great Grandchildren. Robbie was preceded in death by her husband, Treiber; Parents; Sister, Shirley Sue (Earl) Toombs; Grandson, David Domerese.
