TURNER, Shirley I. – Of Grand Blanc Township, age 86, died Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Nathan Allen
officiating.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association of Michigan
Visitation 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Shirley was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on May 11, 1933, the daughter of the late Samuel and Ludie (Winningham) Albright.
Mrs. Turner was employed by Evergreen Cleaners for 20 years.
She was a member of the VFW Quilters in Owosso.
Surviving are children, Kathy Rau,
Mike Turner,
Lorie and husband Phil Phillips,
Marcie and husband Kevin Schultz;
10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren;
brother, Samuel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy, on October 16, 2010; daughter, Sue Aaron and sister, Janet.
