CASE, Jeanne M. - of Clio, age 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2020 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio, Michigan. Cremation has taken place. Jeanne will be honored at a later time and place, determined by family members. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thetford United Methodist Church in Clio, Michigan.
Jeanne was born in Flint, Michigan on January 26, 1924 to the late Clayton and Doris Buckberro. Jeanne was a graduate of Bendle High School in 1940-41. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and received her Varsity Letter in her High School Choir. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Arthur, married for 61 years before he passed away in 2004. Jeanne was a member of the Thetford United Methodist Church for many years and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was also Eastern Star of Clio Lodge.
Jeanne had a wonderful sense of humor, she always enjoyed family gatherings, dancing, and entertaining family and friends. She was so loved by many and will be missed. A special thanks to Mary, Jenny, and the wonderful staff at Maple Woods Manor.
Surviving are: Son, Daniel (Marsha) Case of Thetford twp.; Daughter, Sue (Keith) Bearup of Clayton twp.; Sister, Marletta (John) Gross of Essexville; Brother, Ron (Judy) Couch of Millington; Grandchildren: Michael (Gillian) of Grand Rapids, Michelle Reed of Flint, Matthew (Jessica) Harrison of Atlanta and many great grandchildren. Jeanne was also preceded in death by: Son, Dennis; Sister, Shirley Owen; Step-Father, “Grandpa Jack” Couch.
