SCHMIDT, Jacqueline “Jackie” Sophie (Ceslick) – of Davison, MI, age 66, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor John Vannest officiating. Interment Davison Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-3 PM and 5-8 PM Monday, November 28, 2016 and 10 AM-12 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County, in Jackie’s memory.
Jackie was born in Flint, MI on December 16, 1949, daughter of the late Edward and Patricia (Broughton) Ceslick. She retired from AC Sparkplug after 28 years of service. Jackie was an excellent baker and always looking for a bargain.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Jay; 4 children, Luke (Tracy) Dowless, Kevin Schmidt, Leasha (Adam) Lovern and Kristy Schmidt; 15 grandchildren, Stephanie, Tricia, Tabbitha, Lawrence III (Tabetha), Lance, Logan, Jayde, Jacob, Alison, Nicolas, Tyler, Ericka, Cole, Anthony and Kevianna; 5 great-grandchildren, Keaton, Christian, Landon, Mason and Avianna; 5 siblings, Carolyn (Maurice) Lavarack, Edward Ceslick, Michael Ceslick, Daniel (Sally) Ceslick and Patrick Ceslick; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence “Larry” Dowless, Jr., great-granddaughter, Harper Dowless and brother, Timothy Ceslick.
