ANDREJACK, Marilyn Ruth - Of Houghton Lake, age 85, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Regency of Grand Blanc surrounded by family.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Reverend Bryan Thompson officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Samaritans Purse.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Marilyn was born on November 20, 1932 in Grand Ledge, Michigan, the daughter of Roy and Mabel (Starr) Williams. On August 25, 1951 she married George Harry Andrejack in Battle Creek, Michigan and they were married for nearly 62 years. Marilyn attended school in Spring Arbor, Michigan. She worked at Kellogg’s and in retail. Marilyn spent the majority of time as a homemaker. She was a member of Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church. Marilyn served in the Children’s Ministry for 45 years. In her youth, she enjoyed singing with her sisters in church. Marilyn enjoyed crafts, quilting, knitting, fishing, watching baseball and hockey and spending time with her family.
Surviving are daughter, Diana (John) Bigger of Clarkston;
sons, John (Marcia) Andrejack of Webberville, Gerald (Jennifer) Andrejack of Durand;
10 grandchildren and 1 step-granddaughter;
2 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters and a brother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Armantha.
