GOODHUE, Annabel “Ann” Ruth – Of Flint, age 77, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at
Faith Lutheran Church 12534 Holly Road, Grand Blanc, Reverend Gerald Harms officiating.
Per Ann’s wishes cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice Care Center or Faith Lutheran Church.
Visitation 12-8 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mrs. Goodhue will be at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service.
Ann was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada on September 24, 1934 the daughter of the late Walter and Helena (Meier) Mang and was a resident of Flint for many years.
Ann was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed over 50 years playing in her ladies card club, gardening and spending time with her family.
Ann worked in the healthcare field in various capacities for over 30 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Dawn and husband Craig Menear of Marietta, GA,
Sandra and husband Dr. Paul Karr of Grand Blanc;
six grandchildren, Lauren and Sydney South,
Courtney and Danielle Menear,
Alexandra and Tyler Karr;
twin sister, Claramae "Clare" and husband Elton Manz of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shawn Edgcombe and brother, Arnold Mang.
