CRAGG, Shirley M. – of Clio, age 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Maple Woods Manor. Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday, June 25, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastors Chad Short and Keith Childerhose officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2PM until 8PM and Monday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. A VFW Ladies Auxiliary memorial will be held at 7PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Morris Free Methodist Church.
Shirley was born November 17, 1926 in Mt. Morris, Michigan to the late Floyd and Mary (Eisinger) Severn. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School. Shirley married Maynard L. Cragg August 17, 1947 at First Baptist Church of Mt. Morris. He preceded her in death June 16, 2002. Shirley was a member of Mt. Morris Free Methodist Church, and the Clio VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed volunteering at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw. Shirley also enjoyed playing Bunko, gardening, and cooking.
Surviving are: Son, Dale (Mary Lou) Cragg; Daughter, Janis Payne; Grandchildren: Destry Payne, Daniel Payne, Gary (Marinelli) Payne, Chad (Leanne) Cragg, David Cragg; Great grandchildren: D.J. Payne, Elizabeth Payne, Lucas Cragg, and Emilee Cragg; Sister, Doris (Fred) Osmun; Sister in law, Karen Selk. Shirley was also preceded in death by her sister, Onalee Cragg.
