LOVE, Carol Faye – of Davison, MI, age 85, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Son, Pastor Tom Clark and Pastor Jack Dowden officiating. Burial will follow the service in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Tuesday and one hour prior to service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries or the Emmanuel Baptist Ladies Missionary Society.
Carol was born in Flint, MI on July 31, 1934, daughter of the late Frederick and Elva (Burton) Dhyse. She resided in the Genesee County area her entire life, where she was known by many from her career at the cosmetic counters of Herbert M. Bush and Vogue department stores. Carol also participated in several local senior travel groups. From a young age, she was an active member and participant at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Carol is survived by her children, W. Thomas “Tom” (Ronda) Clark, Cathy (Lynn) Brady and Janice (Steve) Kidd; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several stepchildren and step-grandchildren; sister, Donna Halleck; her nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Craig Brady; brother-in-law, Orill Halleck and her husbands, Richard “Dick” Pawlak and Jim Love.
