WATKINS, Barbara - Of Flint, age 84, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 1-8pm Friday and 10am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Barbara was born in Standish, Michigan on June 5, 1935, the daughter of Hazen and Anna (Bays) Bennett. On February 2, 1957, she married William Watkins in Flint. Barbara liked to play the lottery and enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are husband, William;
Children, Sandra (Alan) Talbot, Mike (Kim) Watkins, and Billy (Cari) Watkins;
Grandchildren, Tiffany (Calvin) Wilson, Brandon (Gary) Andrews, Krystal Talbot, Courtney Talbot, Amy (Buzz) Reese, Jay (Heather) Reese, Monica (Brandon) Salyers, Kasey Rife, Jeffrey Watkins, Little Billy Watkins, Ashley (Michael) Brewer, and Joey (Chey) Watkins;
Great-grandchildren, Kerissa, Riley, Lindsey, Madison, Caiden, Jesse, Eli, Annabelle and Gavin;
Sister-in-law, Barbara Thompson;
And numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Barry Watkins.
