DES ORMEAU, Sandra L. - Of Grand Blanc, age 73, died Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am Monday, November 18, 2019 at the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 7296 Gale Road, Grand Blanc,
Father Peter Lawrence officiating.
Cremation will take pace following the Mass.
Contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Visitation 1-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 9:30am Monday at the church until the time of the Mass.
Sandra was born in Flint on April 2, 1946, the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Horrigan) Hatfield. On September 14, 1968, she married Park Des Ormeau in Flint. Sandra retired from General Motors in 2000. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Sandra loved golfing, bowling, camping, playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are husband, Park Des Ormeau of Grand Blanc;
Daughter, Anne Marie (Michael) Arrand of Davison;
Son, Aaron (Christine Cameron) Des Ormeau of Flushing;
Grandchildren, Madeline and Jackson Cameron of Flushing, Jacob Arrand of Grand Blanc, and Jacob and Caleb Manville of Davison;
Sister, Marilyn King of Fenton and Kathleen Cauley of Grand Blanc;
And many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Raymond Hatfield and sisters, Mary Helen Hatfield and Patricia Aldrich and brother-in-law, Stanley Aldrich.
