GARBE, Bruce - Of Millington, age 70, died Saturday, September 24, 2016 at McLaren-Lapeer.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, October 3, 2016 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
Visitation 1-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Bruce was born in Fraser, Michigan on September 1, 1946, the son of the late Ernest and Bessie (Green) Garbe. On November 24, 1978 he married Nora June Rhymer. He proudly served in the USMC. Bruce was employed with General Motors for 30 years.
Surviving are wife, June;
Son, Andrew;
Daughters, Kerry, Stefanie, Heather and step-daughter, Rebecca;
6 grandchildren, Grover, Gwen, Maggie, Seth, Gavin, Erick;
7 brothers and sisters, Betty, Ernie, Bob, Nadine, Ruth, Carol and Ralph.
