HANSEL, Patricia J. "Pat" – age 74, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Mr. Gary E. Turner and Tony McKee co-officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Bristol Road Church of Christ or the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Visitation 5-8pm Sunday and 1-8pm Monday and 10am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Patricia was born in Flint, Michigan on April 3, 1941, the
daughter of Nathan and Gladys (Mills) McDaniel and was a resident of the Flint area most of her life. She married Dick Hansel on January 14, 1961 in Chicago. She was a member of Bristol Road Church of Christ. Mrs. Hansel was employed by General Motors, Chevrolet and AC Spark Plug for 20 1/2 years, retiring in 1993.
Surviving are five children, Jean-Ann and husband Drew Webster of Grand Blanc, Judy R. and husband John Hillis of Fenton,
Richard N. Hansel of Grand Blanc, twin sons, Michael P. of Flint and Mark H. of Grand Blanc;
7 grandchildren, Stephanie (Lance) Gorby, Andrew and Lauren Webster, Rachel and John Hillis, MacKenzie Hansel and Elizabeth Rose Hansel;
great-granddaughter, Felicity Hope Gorby;
sister-in-law, Grace Hansel-Stevens;
many cousins; beloved cats, Cora-Jean and Miss Kitty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick, in 2008 and father, Nathan, in 2002 and mother, Gladys in 2006.
