Larry Dawson Walworth
Age 73 of New Lothrop passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Nelson-House Funeral Home New Lothrop Chapel with Pastor Marlene Webster officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 25.
Larry was born on January 13, 1943 to Dawson C. and Betty E. (Burleson) Walworth in Owosso. He married his true love, Barbara Lutz on September 26, 1964. Larry worked for GM for 36 years before retiring.
During his life, Larry was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He also enjoyed traveling, fishing, deer hunting, going to their cottage, and vacationing at Madeira Beach, Florida. He always loved being with his family and friends; especially, his GM retiree breakfast buddies and his good friends at Crooked Lake.
Larry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara; his children, Renee (Scott) Wilkinson and Jonathan (Shelley) Walworth; his grandchildren, Jessica, Rebecca, Jacob, Christian, Sarah, Garrett, and Danielle; his sister, Glenda Weathers; his brothers-in-law, Ronald (Lisa) Lutz and Brian (Jerilyn) Lutz; his father-in-law, Dan Gray; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents; his sisters, Marilyn and Shirleen; and his brothers, Bobby and Gary. As well as, brother-in-law Jim Weathers and sister-in-law Sharon Walworth.
