BEYER, Craig Allen "Gomer" - Age 54, of Burton, died Monday, February 5, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 9, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Mark Cox officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Craig Allen Beyer Memorial Fund, c/o Sharp Funeral Homes.
Craig was born December 25, 1963 in Flint, the son of James Beyer, Sr. and Candace Ranney. He was a 1982 graduate of Bendle High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed as a pipefitter. Craig enjoyed playing baseball, softball, and golf.
Surviving are: daughter, Alicia Beyer of Central Lake; father, James Beyer, Sr. of Florida; brothers, James Beyer, Jr. and wife Charlean of West Branch, Anthony Umber and wife Cathy of Flint, and Steve Umber and wife Deanna of Fenton; step fathers, Bernard Andreini and family and Robert Pustelnik and family; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Candace Ranney; Ma, Clara Beyer; brothers, Bernard "B.J." Andreini and Conrad Pustelnik. Online tributes may be posted on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
