Murany, Carole A. – of Clio, age 74, died Monday, May 15, 2017, at McLaren of Flint. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Carole at 11 AM, Friday, May 19, 2017, at Saints Charles & Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Rev. Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Thursday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and at the church on Friday from 10 AM until the time of Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Saints Charles & Helena Church or St. Luke's Church in Flint.
Carole was born May 27, 1942, in Flint, Michigan to the late Charles and Bernadine (Welfle) Brown. She graduated from St. Agnes High School in Flint. Carole retired from AC Delphi in 2004 with 23 years of service and was a member of UAW Local 651. She was a 45-year member of Saints Charles & Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Carole was also an active volunteer at the St. Luke New Life Women's Center in Flint and the Clio Senior Center. She also enjoyed sewing and spending time with her beloved cats, Charlie and Chloe.
Surviving are: Daughter, April (Alan) Crompton of Clio; 5 grandchildren: Kelsey (Brian) McClelland, Alex, Zack, Abby, and Brett Crompton; 1 great granddaughter, Harper "Gigi." Sister, Sue Kapture; Brother, Ray (Sandra) Hunt; 2 special friends: Debbie (Raymond) Olsey and Shirley (O.J.) LaFontaine; Many other special friends.
