CARSON, Joseph Michael - Age 31, of Flint, died January 27, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1PM Thursday February 2, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint, Pastor Jim Reid officiating. Visitation will be held 1-8PM Wednesday, and 11AM until the time of service Thursday Those desiring may make contributions to Joseph Carson Memorial Fund.
Joe was born August 23, 1985 in Flint, the son of Mickey and Diana (Work) Carson. He was a 2004 graduate of Kearsley High School. He married Kayla Quinn on August 3, 2013. He was a boxer and a golden gloves contender. He was a professional MMA fighter and professional wrestler. Joe enjoyed coaching his daughter Mallarie's soccer team. He was a loving father and husband. He is survived by his wife: Kayla; two children: Mallarie, and Landyn; mother: Diana Carson; siblings: Clint (Angela) Work, Johnna (Ryan) White; father-in-law: David (Donielle) Quinn; mother-in-law Julie Magda; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Magan Lemay, Colton Quinn, Macall Doherty, Morgan Hamilton; grandparents: Elizabeth Garrison, Joyce Carson; many loved aunts and uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Mickey Carson; grandfather: Virgil "Joe" Carson; friends: Garrett and Jeremy.
