BENNER, Pamela Sue. – of Clio, age 65, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Genesys Hospital of Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday, December 28, 2015 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Larry Nelson officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-8PM and Monday from 10AM until the time of service at 1PM. Contributions may be made to the Clio VFW Post 1452 ladies Auxiliary.
Pam was born May 21, 1950 in Flint, Michigan to the late Thane and Sharon (Kneeshaw) Town. She married Ted Benner June 14, 1975 in Clio. Pam attended Bray Road Baptist Church. She was a very active member of the Clio VFW Post 1452 Ladies Auxiliary for over 40 years and enjoyed sending letters and helping disabled veterans with the Wounded Warrior Project. Pam also enjoyed camping, BINGO, and loved her Detroit Tigers. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and never missed a sporting event. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: Husband, Ted Benner of Clio; Sons: Rick (Kelli) Benner of Clio, Chad (Santana) Benner of Clio and Ryan Benner of Clio; Special Angel, Ashley Sitko; 6 grandchildren: Landon, Hannah, Teddy, Emma, Mason and Gage; Brothers: Denton (Linda) Brunges and Kevin Town; Sisters: Cindy Mordue and Andrea Krise; Many other loving family members and friends.
