CLIFFORD, Mildred M. – Of Flushing, age 93, died Monday, November 28, 2016 at Fostrian Manor.
Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Chaplain Anthony Ferriell officiating.
Internment at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mildred was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 23, 1923, the daughter of the late Samual and Josephine Vejnovich and was a resident of the Flushing area most of her life.
She married James Clifford at First Presbyterian Church in Flint on November 1, 1958 and he preceded her in death. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Clifford was a waitress for many years and worked at General Motors;
Surviving are daughter, Marlene and husband David Kirk;
son, Brad Clifford;
brother, Frank and wife Marianne Vejnovich;
granddaughter, Mary Jo Bradley;
grandson, Daniel Clifford;
great-grandsons, Zane and Huntur Newberry;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Sam and Bernard Vejnovich.
