TUTTLE, Dennis Earl Sr. – Of Flint, age 59, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at McLaren Select Specialty Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Bethany Baptist Church, 2350 East Hemphill Road, Flint, Pastor Mark W. Lasley officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 1-8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mr. Tuttle will be at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service. Dennis was born in Flint, Michigan on September 17, 1952, the son of the late Ward and Laura Tuttle and was a resident of Flint all of his life. Dennis graduated from Bendle High School Class of 1972 and was involved in many sporting activities.
He was a member of the Flint Masonic Lodge #23, Burton Eagles #3814 and Town & Country CB Club.
Dennis enjoyed bowling, race cars, bingo, casinos and traveling. Dennis retired from General Motors Truck & Bus and was a member of UAW Local #671.
Surviving are son, Dennis Jr. (Gypsy) Tuttle of Flint; 3 daughters, Tammy Tuttle, Michelle (Mike) Gauthier, Crystal (Lane) Bradford, all of Flint;
14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren;
grandmother, Jane Tuttle of Davison; brother, Donald (Pam) Tuttle of Onaway; 2 sisters, Cindy (Rick) Beggs and Roxie Tuttle, both of Burton;
several nieces, nephews; special friends, John and Linda Nowyorkas of Burton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ward and Laura Tuttle; grandfather, Ivan Tuttle Sr.; several aunts and uncles.
