TABOR, Donald E., Sr. – of Davison, age 55, passed away February 8, 2013 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI. Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Don was born in Flint on September 10, 1957, son of the late Glenn and Hazel (Moss) Tabor. He married Janet Dahl on March 16, 1991 in Flint. Don enjoyed fishing. His greatest interest was in cars, which he both collected and restored. Don was a machinist with Boyles Speed Shop.
Don is survived by his wife, Jan; children, Katie McCormick and Donald E. Tabor Jr.; sister-in-law, Joanne Chemo; brothers-in-law, Jim Dahl, Jeff Dahl and Joe (Lori) Dahl; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Plamondon, Tiffany Chemo, Brent Dahl, Jeremy Dahl, Elizabeth Dahl and Courtney Dahl. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Tabor.
