TORREY, Raymon William II - Of Flint, age 92, died Saturday, November 19, 2016 in Durand, Michigan.
Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Chaplain Don Bennett officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society.
Visitation 10am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Raymon was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 9, 1924 the son of the late Ray W. and Jennet Torrey. He married Nancy Ann Shaw on February 5, 1955 and she preceded him in death in 1994. Raymon was the past President of the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Flint, and the Flint Exchange Club. He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. and a member of S.A.R. He was a residential home builder for many years.
Surviving are children, Lucinda (Dale) Sivil, Raymon (Angie)Torrey, Robbin (Mary) Torrey and Christina (Jim) Clarence;
grandchildren, Alexander (Brooklyn) Sivil, Anjelica (Chhat) Lem, Andrea (Michael) Gear, Kandis (Tino) Gonzalez, Katrina Torrey and Marcus (Katie) Castiglione;
6 great-grandchildren;
and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
