Daniel J. Malott of Montrose, age 57, died suddenly Saturday, July 6, 2013. Cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will be 2-4 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2013, at Rossell Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. Monday. Rev. Penny Swartz will officiate. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to any Humane Society.
Dan was born in Flint, MI on September 17, 1955, the son of Robert James and Barbara Faye (Massey) Malott. Dan retired from the Flint Post Office in 2009, after working 22 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, his trips to the U.P., flying, stage rally, and playing his bass. He absolutely loved spending time with his family and was always ready for bonfires at his house.
Dan leaves behind to cherish his memory: his soul mate, Lisa McMullin and her daughters, Maddy and Maria Unuvar; mother, Bobbie; brothers, Matt and wife Anne, Ron and wife Deb; nieces, Melissa and Caroline; nephews, Paul, Joe and Jeff. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, and sister, Diane. |
