ARGUE, Kenneth L. – of Otisville, age 75, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 at Charter Senior Living of Davison. A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, September 19, 2019 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 8192 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Dr. David Weber officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Outreach East of Davison or Parkinson’s Foundation.
Ken was born in Flint, MI on July 15, 1944, son of the late F. Dale and Helen M. (Wightman) Argue. He married Elaine Joyce Vogel on April 24, 1964. She preceded him in death on July 16, 2016. Ken proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War in the Infantry – 1st Cavalry Division. He worked as a tinsmith and designer for AC Spark Plug in Flint, retiring in 1999. Ken was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. He was a volunteer at church and Outreach East. Ken enjoyed woodworking and golfing, but most of all, loved spending time with his family.
Ken is survived by his children, Stephen (Stacie Orange) Argue, Shelly (Dan) Cruz, Andy (Wendy) Argue; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Sandy (Leroy) LaJeunesse, John (Rachel) Argue, Sharrie (John) Kimsel, Dan (Carolyn) Argue; many nieces and nephews; many special friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine, and his parents.
