KAPTURE, Alexandria -- Age 98, of Gaines, died February 6, 2014 at Genesys Health Park, Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday February 10 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 12-6 PM Sunday, 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM Monday.
Alexandria was born January 4, 1916 in Duluth MN the daughter of Carl and Lena Chazick. She was married to Michael S. Kapture on July 6, 1940 in Flint; he preceded her in death December 25, 1982.
She retired from A.C. Spark Plug in 1975. She enjoyed her lakeside summer cottage in Hale MI and fishing.
Surviving are: son, Larry Kapture of Swartz Creek; daughter-in-law, Suzy Kapture; grandchildren, Kimberlee Kapture, Rebecca (Mark) Mantei, Heather (Scott) Hunt; great-grandchildren, Nicole (Michael) Mantei, Darien Kapture, Ashley Mantei, Arin Cord, Nevaeh Hunt, Kayleigh Hunt; great-great-grandson, Austin Mantei; special friend, Gloria Benson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Michael Chazick and John Chazick.
