LYNCH, Jerry Leroy “Fatman” “Leroy” – Of Flint, age 75, passed away yesterday, Friday, April 24, 2020 at his home.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Roberta G. (Bauer) Lynch;
his daughters, Shawn (Todd) Brecht, Ginger (Phil) Palmer and Stephanie (Joe) Martino;
grandchildren, Brittney, Blair, Garret and Jackson;
great-granddaughter, Allison.
Jerry was a Vietnam Veteran from 1966-1967 25th Infantry 1st Cav Electric Strawberry Camp over famous tunnels of Cuchi.
He earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.
Jerry retired from General Motors and was an active Union Rep for UAW Local #659. After retiring he was an Aide of Durant Tuuri Mott School.
Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, telling stories, children, and spending time with family.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald, Charles “Chuck”, Wallace “Wally” Lynch; sisters, Juanita Moyer, Mary Jo (Bo) Lynch, Debra “Debbie” Lynch and grandson, Andy.
