WILCOX, Earl B. – of Montrose, age 81, died Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Cranberry Park – Memory Care in Clio. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12PM until 8PM and on Thursday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM.
Earl was born September 14, 1937 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania to the late Foster and Ethel (McDonald) Wilcox. He married Mary J. Ringwelski on July 23, 1956. She preceded him in death on April 7, 2016. Earl went on to graduate from mechanic school and owned and operated his own gas station for 4 years. He also worked as a mechanic for many dealerships throughout the area. Earl was an avid bowler and loved woodworking, camping and fishing. He enjoyed working on cars and listening to Elvis and Johnny Cash.
Surviving are: Children: Robert (Marlene) Wilcox, Debbie (Jory) Petiprin, Keith (Julie) Wilcox, Kim (Virgil) Hammer, Randy (Linda) Wilcox, and Michelle (Robert) Empie; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; Sister, Colleen Bendar.
