TICE, Phyllis Jean- Age 81, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday December 31,
2019 at home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 2PM Sunday January 5, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Minister Paul Holland, officiating. Visitation will be held 4PM - 8PM Saturday and 1PM until time of service on Sunday. In lieu of flowers
those desiring may make contributions to the family to create a memorial fund at the
special needs programs that were so beneficial to her granddaughter. Phyllis was born August 17, 1938 in Flint the daughter
of Charles and Helen Tice. Phyllis enjoyed working with special needs
children and was active in supporting Special Olympics. Mrs. Tice
retired from Universal Electric with 15 years of service and enjoyed
gardening and vacations at Walt Disney World. Surviving are: daughters, Kimberley Baliko of Swartz Creek, Sherry McIntyre of Swartz
Creek; grand daughter, Kassandra Baliko of Swartz Creek and grandson , Joshua Baliko of Flushing. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Jackie Tinsley of Mt. Morris; sisters, Sharon Brown of Saginaw, Peggy Biedrzycki of CA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Tice; son, Robert
Baliko Jr., and daughter, Cindy Tinsley. Tributes may be shared at
