GOULD, Roy Hudson, age 94, died Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Charter Senior Living in Davison. He knew no strangers, spreading love and support wherever he went.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 1 p.m. Monday, funeral service at 2 p.m. November 5, Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Rd.
Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Roy was born in Flint, Michigan, November 25, 1923, son of Hudson and Nora (Crickmore) Gould. He graduated from Bendle High School, and served in the Army during World War II as a truck driver, medic, and in the Air Corps.
On July 9, 1944 he married Edwina Cramer. They loved deeply and laughed often for 67 years.
Roy was employed at Fisher Body Grand Blanc for 35 years, retiring in 1985, a member of UAW Local 1292.
He was a leader of Cub Scouts and 4H archery through the 1960s.
Surviving are 5 children: Kay, James R., Janet and husband Michael, David, and Laurie; 4 grandchildren: Jessica, Alison, Kyla, & Taran; 5 step-grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter, Grace Evelyn; and 3 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edwina; parents, and sister, Sara Cindric.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church.
