WRIGHT, William P. - Of Flint, age 62, died Thursday, August 18, 2016
at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 12pm Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Eric Stewart officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pets in Peril, c/o Edith Campbell, 2551 Paducah Street, Flint, MI 48504.
Visitation 4-8pm Saturday and 12-8pm Sunday and 10am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
William was born in Midland, Michigan on April 29, 1954, and was a resident of Flint most of his life. On February 18, 2000, he married Traci A. Fields. He retired from Holland Motor Freight in 2008. William was an avid golfer and in 2010, he had a hole in one. He was also a Master Griller.
Surviving are wife, Traci;
Children, Andrew (Jennifer), Benjamin (Stephanie) Emily (Justin) Phillips, Chad (Erin) Goss and Garrett Howe.
Grandchildren, Mykah, William, Liam, Elijah, Maxwell, Lukas, Penelope, Norah and Makayla;
Father, Allan McDonald;
Siblings, Cindy (Gary) Wesener, Jane (Don) Kaake, Jeff McDonald, Ann McDonald, Georgena (Mark) Kaiser
And several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly McDonald and sister, Sally Wright.
