STEPHEN, Joyce “Sissy”, of Fenton, age 57, passed away on January 24, 2019, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, at 1225 W. Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Jim Hibbard officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5pm to 8pm Friday, February 1, 2019, at the funeral home and Saturday, 11am to the time of the service.
Contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.
Joyce was born on September 19, 1961, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Saul and Irene (Smith) Begley.
Joyce was a kindhearted person and would do anything for you. She was a gifted writer and poet. She loved the Wizard of Oz and loved attending Tyler and Kaitlyn’s sporting events, where she always claimed “they never lost, they just ran out of time!”. Above all else, Joyce loved her “Brother”, Laurie, Tyler, Kaitlyn and her fur babies, Zoey and Haley.
Surviving are brothers Kenneth (Debbie) Begley and Stephen (Laurie) Begley, nieces and nephews, Keith, Kevin, Tyler and Kaitlyn, along with many great nieces and great nephews;
special cousin JoAnn Estep;
along with many beloved cousins.
Joyce will also be missed by Aunt Lucy, Uncle Bill (Louise). Uncle JB (Wanda) Uncle Paul (Bessie), Aunt Kathleen and many other much loved family members.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Saul and Irene.
