KLEE, Marcelyne Ellen Jozwik "Marcy" -- of Swartz Creek, went to be with her heavenly father at the age of 87 on June 18, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday June 20 at Emanuel Lutheran Church 6380 Beecher Rd., Flint. Pastor Jeffery Schmidt. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. Our temporary location at Hill Creek Church 5363 Hill Rd., Mundy Township. Visitation will also be 10AM Wednesday until time of service at Emanuel Lutheran Church. Those desiring may make contributions to Emanuel Lutheran Church.
Marcy was born July 23, 1930 the daughter of Lyman E. and Vada M. (Robinson) Myers. She lived in the Flushing and Swartz Creek area most of her life; but moving to Prudenville, Michigan at retirement for eight years and then returning to Swartz Creek. She graduated from Dye High School in 1948, also attending G.M.I which now is Kettering University. She married Edwin Klee in Flint January 6, 1951, also married Kenneth Jozwik October 27, 2012, He preceded her in death June 28, 2017. Marcy retired from G.M.A.C after 30 1/2 years of service. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Flushing. Surviving are children, Karen Starkel of Flushing, Debra (Terry) Garoutte of Newburgh, Indiana, son, Michael (Maria) Klee of Palm Coast Florida; step daughters, Carolyn Kotesky and Catherine Davis; grand children, Jodie (Keith) Figurski, Gregory (Sarah) Starkel, Julie (Derrick) Weyer, Amanda (Aaron) Witmer, Christopher (fiancee Jamie Carter) Garoutte, Ashley (Tim) Muth, Shayna (Alex) Ribiero, Justin Klee, Bridgette (Joseph) Pollard, Sabrina Rodrigues, Isabella Watson, Kaitlyn (Zack)Kotesky-Muller and Shane Davis; several great grandchildren; brother, Lyman (Margaret) Myers. Marcy was preceded in death by her parents; husband Edwin Klee; husband Kenneth Jozwik; brother, Myron; son-in-law, Jim Starkel. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
